Description:
Old studs can wear and stretch, and should be replaced every time you remove the manifold or header. To help alleviate this issue, these studs have been improved and upgraded! This stud installs along the top of the intake manifolds* and the bottom of the exhaust manifold on carbureted models. Fuel Injected engines do not use this stud. Sold individually; see Note below for quantities and application details. See Related Items for our complete manifold kit.

*Quantity & Application Notes:
73-74 models originally use 6 bolts along the top of the intake manifold. This stud can be used as a replacement for them, for much easier installation. Total quantity required is the same for all 70-74 models when using studs instead of the bolts. 73-74 models retaining the original upper intake manifold bolts will only need 4 of these studs instead.
