If you are searching for an air dam that will properly balance downforce with one of the most popular rear deck spoilers in carbon fiber, look no further! Our non-ducted Type-1 Air Dam is now available in carbon fiber, and is an ideal companion to most rear spoilers. We believe you will agree when you see this great air dam on your early Z, and especially so when paired with the MSA Victory™ or BRE Style Rear Spoiler. Gloss finished carbon fiber pairs especially well with high gloss paints, wraps, and coatings, but also creates an interesting contrast with low and semi-gloss style finishes (such as flat, matte, and satin). The pictures don't do justice to the great, gloss look of the carbon fiber in person; they look great!

The classic of classics, this eternally popular Air Dam (Front Spoiler) improves the aerodynamic stance of your Z in style! It is designed to increase front end downforce, making it a perfect partner to most rear spoilers. This version of the Type-1 Air Dam is made of high quality Carbon Fiber with high gloss finish (see Related Items for Fiberglass), and comes ready to install. It replaces the original lower valance on 70-8/74 240Z & 260Z models while keeping the turn signal openings, and installs using the original valance hardware (not included).

Brake Cooling Ducts:
This version of our Type-1 Front Air Dam features a smooth finish instead of ports for Brake Cooling Ducts. If you are using cooling ducts, or simply prefer the appearance of them, see 50-1402 in Related Items for our ducted Type 1 Air Dam in fiberglass. Note that the ducted version is not available in Carbon Fiber at this time.
