Availability:
Nissan has drastically increased their pricing on the studs and bolts in this kit, which increased the cost by hundreds of dollars. We are searching Japan for all possible options on the factory hardware, and are already including the long bolt we previously sourced from our importers (which is reflected in the current price). Description:
The thermal cycle that manifold hardware is exposed to every time you run your car causes wear to these bolts, studs, etc. In the short term, it can cause nuts and bolts to loosen; however, over a longer period of time, hardware stretches, weakens, and can even break (the latter usually happens during removal). Unfortunately, there is no getting around the long term effects of thermal cycling, which is why we recommend replacing old hardware whenever you have the manifolds removed (for instance, when installing one of our performance headers). This kit includes:
**Application Notes:
This kit is for all 75-83 280Z-280ZX's with N42, N47, P79, or P90 Cylinder Heads, running fuel injection. If you are using an N42, N47, P79, or P90 on your 70-74 240Z-260Z with fuel injection, you need this kit. It will not work with early cylinder heads (E31, E88). If you are installing a carburetor on an N42, N47, P79, or P90, you will need part 15-8080 or 15-8082 (see Related Items).
