Description:
Fusible links are subjected to significant wear and corrosion over time, both visible and hidden. As they age, the components that make up the links become more and more brittle the longer they are used. Even links that have not burned out are still subject to wear simply from regular use. Replacing a worn out link will take care of most issues; however, the connector on the harness side suffers the same way as the connector on the link itself (and are most often overlooked). This connector is correct for the upstream harness (battery side) of the main EFI fusible link for 75-77 280Zs. See 12-4354 in Related Items for the downstream connector.

Harness Installation:
The terminal of this connector is originally crimped on to the wire harness. While a standard wire stripper/crimper cam be used, this type of terminal is best secured with a dedicated wire crimping tool (such as a ratcheting crimper). Solder can also be used, but is usually not required when using a dedicated crimping tool.
