Available again! This flat washer was previously discontinued by Nissan. After nearly a decade, it has been brought back into production. We cannot say just how long it will remain available, so if your restoration needs this genuine Nissan washer, don't delay!

Description:
This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) smaller tension rod washer that fits between the tension rod nut and the large tension rod washer. Sold individually; 2 required per car.

Application Note:
Our Tension Rod Hardware Kit comes with the washer specified in Nissan's service file instead of this original washer. The earlier washer is correct for use with the other components included in the service file and is a close match to the washer originally used on 70-83 models. This washer, which is original for Z31 models, has a smaller outer diameter compared to the service file part (26mm O.D. vs. 32mm O.D.), and is also slightly thinner (~1mm). If you are using the original large bushing washers, or you are restoring your ZX as close to original as possible, this is the washer you will want to purchase (see Related Items for the remaining hardware). Plating Note:
As with many of the OEM hardware, fittings, caps, and other plated components, Nissan no longer uses the original plating that gave these washers their "yellow zinc" appearance. Nissan has used several different types of plating on metal components over the years, and it is not uncommon to receive pieces with different appearances (especially when ordering in quantity). The current plating used on these genuine Nissan flat washers gives them a more silver appearance as shown in the images.
