Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) self locking nut secures the tension rods to the control arm on 70-78 Z-Cars and 84-87 300ZX's. Sold individually.

Quantity Required:

• (2) Tension Rod to Control Arm, 70-78 (per side; 4 per car)
• (2) Tension Rod to Control Arm, 84-87 (2 per side; 4 per car)*

Note:
This nut is used in several other locations throughout the car, including:

• (2) Transmission Mount Insulator to Transmission, 70-83
• (1) Front Lower End Link, 87-89 (per side; 2 per car)

*Tension Rod Note:
Nissan specifies this nut as fitting on the end of the tension rod where it meets the bracket on the crossmember; however, it is too small to fit in that position. We have confirmed that it will fit on the two studs that hold the tension rod to the front control arm. 14-1316 (in Related Items) can be used to hold the tension rod to the crossmember brackets.

87-89 End Link Note:
The part number for this nut is the same as the front lower end link nuts on 87-89 models with "tie rod type" end links (14-1370). It connects the bottom of the end link to each control arm.
