Description:
Crankshaft pulleys, also known as harmonic balancers and crank dampeners, protect L-Series engines by absorbing damaging vibration that occurs when the engine is running. Inline engines produce more vibration from running than their V counterparts, making the job of the crank pulley even more important on early Z-Cars. The rubber portion of a crank damper is prone to wear, which can lead to increased engine vibration and movement in minor cases and reduced accessory function or engine damage in extreme cases. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement pulley. Don't forget to inspect your belts and other pulleys when inspecting your dampener!

Power Steering Note:
Crankshaft Pulleys for models with factory power steering include an additional accessory pulley, which is bolted to the front of the damper. This OEM replacement pulley is fully assembled and ready to install on your ZX.
