Half-Shafts, or half axles (also confusingly called driveshafts in some areas) are the center component of the axle assembly which connects the Differential to the rear Wheels. Found on each side of the differential on all 70-78 and some 79-83 models. Unfortunately, Nissan discontinued Half-Shafts and several components some time ago, while some of the internals were never available separately. Below are many of the associated parts for your Half-shafts. We hopeful to have reproduction Half-shafts produced at some the future. Until then, they are usually able to be serviced with some time, effort, and the parts listed on this page.
