Description:
If you are setting up your Z for race use with triple carburetors, you may benefit from mounting the carbs directly to the manifold instead of using the anti-vibration kit. When run consistently at higher RPM in a properly built and balanced engine, the vibrations caused by running the engine are minimized and have little to no impact on the carburetors themselves. In this configuration, a simple gasket can be used instead. Sold individually; 2 gaskets required per carburetor (6 required for standard Z configuration).
Anti-Vibration (Soft) Mounts:
The majority of L6 applications running triple Webers will be better off using the Anti-Vibration mounts, which are included as part of the Triple Weber kits. See 11-2999 in Related Items for more details on the benefits of using the kit.
Notes:
Weber DCOE Rebuild Kits include these gaskets already; you do not need to purchase this gasket separately when ordering rebuild kits. If your triple Weber setup is currently solid mounted, and you are planning to convert to the anti-vibration mounts instead, see 11-2999 in Related Items. For replacement soft mount o-rings, see 11-3125.
