Description:
Whether you enjoy driving your 300ZX in a "spirited" manner, you plan to run your ZX on the race track, or even if you daily drive your Z, the NISMO "Veruspeed" Oil Filter is the best protection you can get! It was specifically designed for race use; however, the improvements from the design also greatly benefit street applications. The filter material is woven in such a way that larger particles are trapped closer to the surface while smaller particles are trapped deeper within the filter media. This "Inclined Density Structure" effectively increases the overall surface area through shape optimization. The benefits of the design include improved overall filtering, longer filter life, and decreased pressure loss over that improved lifespan (critical for race applications). Additionally, the filter housing is reinforced to allow for higher viscosity oils to be used safely when combined with the improved media.

Notes:
This genuine NISMO filter is originally specified by NISMO for use on 300ZX (Z32) models with VG30DE(TT) engines. The original replacement filter for both 84-89 Z31 models and 90-96 Z32 models both supercede to the same OEM part number now according to Nissan. We've included the Z31 in the applications due to this supercession. Also, this filter is physically smaller than the OEM size when comparing the outer cases (see comparison images). The sealing o-rings are nearly the exact same size, and the internal thread is also the same size/pitch. When comparing the NISMO and genuine Nissan filters, the outer case of the Nissan filter extends significantly past the seal where the NISMO only extends a small amount. These physical differences have no affect on the functionality or fitment of the filter though.
