To all of our late 260Z & 280Z owners who have asked for a BRE-Style Front Spoiler (Air Dam) for their Z's, your wait is over! This impressive front spoiler was designed to match the look of the early Z BRE-Racing style body parts, but directly fits your original late style 3-piece lower valance.

If you are searching for a front spoiler that will properly balance downforce with one of the most popular rear deck spoilers in carbon fiber, look no further! Our BRE Style Front Spoilers are now available in carbon fiber to match the rear deck spoilers. We believe you will agree when you see this great spoiler on your early Z, and especially so when paired with the BRE Style Rear Spoiler. Gloss finished carbon fiber pairs especially well with high gloss paints, wraps, and coatings, but also creates an interesting contrast with low and semi-gloss style finishes (such as flat, matte, and satin). The pictures don't do justice to the great, gloss look of the carbon fiber in person; they look great!

Capturing the "resto-look" of the early 70's, this Front Spoiler (Air Dam) was inspired by the image of the originals used by the successful BRE Racing Team! It is our take on this legendary style, as a tribute to the iconic BRE Z's and their racing heritage. It is specifically designed to increase front end downforce, making it a perfect partner to most rear spoilers. This version of the BRE Style Front Spoiler is made of high quality Carbon Fiber with high gloss finish (see Related Items for Fiberglass), and comes ready to install. It mounts to the in-tact factory front valance originally installed on 70-8/74 240Z & 260Z models (see Application Note for more details) using your choice of fasteners (not included).

Brake Cooling Ducts:
This version of our BRE Style Front Spoiler features open ports designed for Brake Cooling Ducts. If you are not using cooling ducts, and do not want the look of open ports, see 50-1572 in Related Items for the Non-Ducted version of this spoiler.

Application Note:
*This spoiler fits all models currently equipped with the "late" style 3-piece valance, which does not have openings for turn signals (signals were mounted between the headlights on these models). It will not fit models currently equipped with an "early" style 3-piece factory front valance (ends have openings for 240Z curved turn signals) or models equipped with a "G-Nose" kit (bodywork extends further forward than the front edge of the hood). It will fit on all US-Spec 9/74-78 280Z models, and any non-US model with turn signals mounted between the headlights. For Fairlady Z models, most Fairlady 240Z models (excluding 240ZG), all non-Japanese 70-8/74 240Z-260Z, and most non-US 74-78 260Z models in original configuration, we recommend our original version of this spoiler which specifically fits your original valance (see Related Items).
