Factory Oil Cap O-Ring, 84-96 300ZX (Z31; Z32)

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) stepped rubber o-ring fits into a groove on the underside of the original oil cap. It seals the oil cap to the top of the valve cover on the right (passenger) side of the engine. Specifically, the oil cap o-ring is used to keep oil and combustion blow-by gasses inside the engine while keeping unfiltered air and other contaminants out.
Service File:
This o-ring has a service file, which calls for replacing the oil cap and o-ring together. As such, both pieces are now only available together; see 10-2645. Service File parts are similar to supercessions in that they are Nissan directed replacements. Unlike supercessions, service file parts typically require modification, other components, or both for proper fitment. Please call with any questions.
