Description:
This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) oil cap, which includes the o-ring for sealing to the valve cover. It fits into the top of the valve cover on the right (passenger) side of the engine. The included o-ring is used to keep oil and combustion blow-by gasses inside the engine while keeping unfiltered air and other contaminants out.

Oil Cap O-Ring Note:
Nissan no longer offers the oil cap o-ring separately from this Oil Cap, and Service Files it to this cap assembly instead. At this time, the only option for a replacement o-ring is to purchase the cap and o-ring together. Service File parts are similar to supercessions in that they are Nissan directed replacements. Unlike supercessions, service file parts typically require modification, other components, or both for proper fitment. Please call with any questions.
