Factory Driveline Bolt, CV Axle to Companion Flange, 81-83*, 84-89 300ZX (Z31) Non-Turbo CV Axle
Includes:
Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) bolt is used to hold the CV Axle to the companion flange. Sold individually.
Quantity Required:
*280ZX CV Axle Note:
Unfortunately, accurate information regarding when CV Axles were put into use, and on which 280ZX models, is no longer readily available. From the records we have (including several versions of the Nissan microfiche), these were officially first put into use on turbo models starting at production month 12/80. 2+2 models show them first being used at production month 9/81 (R200 only). Despite this, evidence indicates that 2+2 models may have seen them as early as 1980 production year. Regardless of sub-model and first use, CV Axles were only ever used on 280ZX models with R200 differentials (all Z-Cars after the 280ZX all used CV Axles). As always, it is best to confirm on your car directly whether you have half shafts or CV Axles prior to ordering.
