Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) mesh cylinder filter is the last line of defense in your S.U. Carburetor fuel system. It fits in the fuel inlet next to the float bowl of each carb, and keeps debris out in order to prevent damage. While they are excellent at their job, their small size means that they can fill up quickly depending on the quality of several components, including the primary fuel filter and the fuel being used, in addition to the condition of components such as the fuel tank and fuel lines. Keeping a pair of spare filters on hand is a good precaution on the same lines as keeping a spare set of ignition points in the glove box. Sold individually; 1 required per carburetor (2 per vehicle).
