Special Order (Estimated Price) Factory Exhaust Manifold Stud, 84-89 300ZX (Z31)
You can choose a Z-Car from your garage, or from the selections above, to filter the store or check part fitment.
Part #:14-1750
Price: $6.87
Availability: This part has been discontinued by Nissan; however, we've located a limited number of these OEM Manifold Studs through our overseas supplier network. We are doing all we can to keep limited items like this in stock, but may not have them on hand at all times. As with all items Special Ordered from overseas, it can take some time to arrive in our inventory, and that time can vary widely for each order (Special Orders from Japan can take anywhere from 1-3 months or even longer, as an example). We'll confirm current availability after we receive your order, or you can always contact us ahead of time.
Estimated Price: Pricing on factory Nissan parts that we source directly from Japan can change with every order we receive. The price listed on this page is based on the most recent shipment from our importers, and applies to in stock inventory only. We recommend using a credit card to place your order so you won't be charged up front if we are out of stock (PayPal will charge you up front regardless). If we are out of stock, we'll let you know what the final cost will be once it is confirmed (we believe this part will be close to the same price).
Again, Nissan has discontinued this part already, and even our sources for them will eventually run out. Even if we are currently out of stock, we recommend placing an order (with a credit card as noted above) to reserve future inventory. If you know that you need this part for your Z-Car, don't delay too long or you might miss out entirely!
Includes:
Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) stud is used to hold the exhaust manifold in place. Sold individually; 6 per exhaust manifold (12 per car).
Plating Note:
As with many of the OEM hardware, fittings, caps, and other plated components, Nissan no longer uses the original plating that gave these studs their "yellow zinc" appearance. Nissan has used several different types of plating on metal components over the years, and it is not uncommon to receive pieces with different appearances (especially when ordering in quantity). Additionally, genuine Nissan items sourced through importers such as these studs can vary significantly depending on where they are from and when they were manufactured. The current plating typically used on genuine Nissan parts that were recently manufactured gives them a more silver appearance.
Comparison Image:
The comparison image on this page shows both the old and current plating types for reference. As noted above, Nissan has discontinued the older plating type. Aside from the plating, there is no physical difference between the older and current studs, as seen in the comparison.
Alternative Option:
This stud has been discontinued by Nissan USA. We have located a limited supply of these; however, we are not able to estimate how long we will be able to source them for. While searching for these, we were able to confirm that the longest of the L6 manifold studs can work in place of this original stud. There are some minor visual differences, but the thread size, pitch, and length are all the same or nearly identical. See 14-1701 in Related Items.
