Availability: Unfortunately, Nissan has discontinued production on these OEM Crankshaft Pulleys globally. While we had previously located a limited number of these through one of our overseas suppliers, they have since informed us that the last supply they were able to source has since run out. While it can be uncommon, we do come across ultra-rare or otherwise hard-to-find parts like this once in a while. Description:
Crankshaft pulleys, also known as harmonic balancers and crank dampeners, protect L-Series engines by absorbing damaging vibration that occurs when the engine is running. Inline engines produce more vibration from running than their V counterparts, making the job of the crank pulley even more important on early Z-Cars. The rubber portion of a crank damper is prone to wear, which can lead to increased engine vibration and movement in minor cases and reduced accessory function or engine damage in extreme cases. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement pulley. Don't forget to inspect your belts and other pulleys when inspecting your dampener!

Alternative Option:
If your engine setup only uses a fan belt, you may want to consider one of our performance harmonic dampers instead of the stock type pulley (see Related Items).
