Note: Unfortunately, Nissan has discontinued this factory bushing. Our Urethane Strut Rod Bushing Kit is a great alternative (and upgrade) to the factory bushing, and is sold in a complete set (see 23-2049 in Related Items below). Description: This is the aft factory Nissan tension rod bushing (also called a strut rod bushing), which fits closer to the front control arm. Over time, these bushings wear out, which can lead to sloppy steering and shimmy or vibration under braking. Sold individually, 2 required per car. See Related Items below for the forward bushing. Bushing Differences: The factory forward and aft bushings are slightly different in design, and are easily identified by the color stripe that Nissan puts on them. The forward bushing has a blue stripe while the aft bushing has a pink stripe.
