Description:
While they are well suited to the sleek design of the Z, the length and weight of early Z-Car doors meant that there was a significant potential for damage from simply closing the doors. Nissan took several steps during the design process to mitigate this potential. One of those was the use of stoppers mounted at the bottom of the chassis mounted door striker. Combined with the dove tails mounted on the door, these small, spring loaded stoppers both align the door when closing and help relieve stress from closing the doors too hard. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) stopper for the passenger (right) side door striker. See Related Items for the driver's (left) side.
