Description:
This custom quality kit is made with better-than-original materials to replace, not cover, your old outer seat material on both rear seats in your car. It isn't a universal kit, but a professionally designed re-upholstery kit that was constructed to properly fit the entire rear seat of your 77-78 2+2. The original-design foamed pleats are sewn into the seat bottom and back rests. This kit includes step-by-step instructions, all of the necessary hardware, 1 back rest upholstery section, and 1 seat bottom upholstery section. One kit covers the entire rear seat assembly.

The image above shows the original style kit with "basket weave" insert, which is currently not available (see basket weave note below).

Basket Weave Note:
The "basket weave" material originally in the center of the seating surface is not currently available as a result of ongoing supply issues. When ordering this kit, the center section will have the correct stitching pattern; however, the material used in the center will have the same appearance as the material on the outer facing sections. Note:
All MSA Upholstery Kits are designed to fit the years specified. For instance, an upholstery kit for 1976 will not fit on a 1978 seat. If you are looking to change the look of your seat to that of another year, give us a call at (714)639-2620 to see if we can custom order the look you need.

*Instructions Note:
The included instructions are not a full detailed how-to for installing this specific upholstery kit. They are more of a general set of instructions and recommendations, but do include some specific notes for Z-Cars. While not required, professional installation is recommended by our manufacturer on all upholstery kits.
