Description:
This Borla ProXS universal fit muffler is a great option for those planning to build a custom exhaust for their 300ZX-Z31 non-turbo. It pairs especially well with our performance headers. The dimensions are nearly identical to the included muffler for our performance cat-back exhaust kits, making it a particularly good option in cases where the kit muffler needs to be replaced.

*Note:
This muffler is designed for universal fitment. It is able to flow in either direction, allowing for the offset end to function as the inlet or the centered end as the outlet. Our MSA premium or performance exhaust kits are configured so that the centered end should be used as the inlet and the offset should be the outlet.

Application Note:
This muffler is meant for custom exhaust builds or as an alternative for Motorsport Auto 2 1/4" performance exhaust systems. It is not meant for stock pipes, which are significantly smaller diameter. Other aftermarket systems may not be close enough in dimensions or tube position to fit well. For 300ZX-Z31 models, 86-89 non-turbo models can use this muffler, but will require custom fitment. Installation Note:
When used with our performance cat-back exhaust kit (15-6026), this muffler installs horizontal with the outlet toward the driver's (left) side.
