This gasket seals the DCOE Carburetor to the air cleaner body. Often times when the air cleaners are removed, these gaskets can tear which allows unfiltered air to enter the carburetor if reused. Whether you are removing the filters for cleaning or during a rebuild, this gasket is perfect for re-installation. Sold individually; 1 gasket required per carburetor (3 required for standard Z configuration).
Notes:
This gasket is included with several air cleaners designed for DCOE Carburetors when purchased new. Additionally, some Weber DCOE Rebuild Kits include this gasket while others do not; be sure to check the specific rebuild kit you have to determine whether you need to order this gasket separately or not. Note that this gasket is only needed when running air cleaner assemblies that fit directly against the carburetor body; applications using filters attached to the air horns (such as filter socks) will not use this gasket.
