Description:
If you notice a knocking or banging sound during sudden suspension travel, such as when you hit bumps in the road or go over speed bumps, it may be time to replace the strut mounting insulators. Over time, the rubber portion of these insulators wears out, which allows the strut to move around inside (which can cause that occasional knock). Worn insulators also allow additional vibration and road noise to transmit into the car. This replacement mounting insulator from trusted KYB is located between the body and and the spring seat, with the strut bearing fitting between the insulator and the seat. Sold individually; 2 required per car.
