The Interest Card is no guarantee that these wheels will become available. Thanks for your interest and input! (Note: Your personal information will not be shared with anybody, we'll only let the manufacturer know the number of people who have interest). The final price of the wheel is of course subject to change, but the current price is $289.87/wheel (plus shipping).

Description:
Despite its name and popular belief, the wheel most commonly associated with the Fairlady Z432R was neither factory installed, on nor available as an option for, the Z432R model (or any other showroom Z for that matter). The original incarnation of this wheel was a special request from Nissan to Kobe Seiko Japan for a wheel to use on the Nissan Works 240Z Rally cars (see image in larger images) . *Considering this, a more appropriate name for the original wheel could be the "Nissan Works 240Z Rally Mag Wheel by Kobe Seiko Japan"! Since then, the design has been updated for modern street use, including compatibility with center caps (included), increasing the size to 15x7" (from the original 14x7"), adaptation for standard lug nuts and valve stems (included when purchased from Motorsport Auto), and TÜV certification. This version of the wheel also includes properly sized "Z" logo emblems for the center caps. They are configured in a 4x114.3 (4-lug) bolt pattern (4x4.5") with 0mm offset, making this set ready to bolt on to your Z. These wheels are finished in a medium gloss metallic grey color, also known as Anthracite. They also are performance-oriented, and are even lighter than our Rewind wheels.

History (Abridged):
The Fairlady Z432 model originally came with a set of 14x5.5" 4-spoke magnesium wheels made by Kobe Seiko in Japan specifically for Nissan's Z432 model. On the other hand, the Fairlady Z432R came off the factory line with 14" steel wheels installed, as owners were expected to replace them with race wheels (and tires) for their specific application. At Nissan's request, Kobe Seiko also made wheels specifically for the Nissan Works rally cars, which were never made available to the public. The works "Violet" Rally mag was similar in design to the Z432 wheel, and was also made in the same size (it was closer to a race-spec update to the original Z432 wheel). Kobe Seiko would eventually produce another updated version of this wheel for general use, which would be sold to the public under the name "Maglloy".

The second wheel was specially made for the works 240Z rally cars. Unlike the previous versions, this wheel was made in 14x7" and had several visible differences in design (such as the open spokes and larger openings between them). It was exclusively installed by Nissan Works (a division of Nissan Motor Company Japan) on the Nissan Works 240Z rally cars. This latter wheel would ultimately become widely associated with the Fairlady Z432R model (despite never actually being factory installed on, or even available as a factory option for them).
