Special Purchase! Nissan USA's price on these strikers is rather expensive for what they are (almost $100.00!), and we have not offer them until now because of it. We were able to source them from Nissan Japan through our importers for a drastically lower price, and are extending that to you!

Description:
These simple, decorative covers for the door strikers are a simple way to dress up the door openings on your later model Z-Car. Factory installed Door Strikers are originally painted black or otherwise coated black (as are most replacements), which tends to wear over time from both age and repeated door openings and closings (the screws are usually silver or grey in color). The strikers typically start to rust around the base when this happens. Instead of refurbishing or replacing the strikers entirely (can be a tedious job if the doors are not already being adjusted*), these covers can be installed over the existing striker without removing.
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) striker cover originally came on 370Z and GT-R models. Nissan has started using them on other late model Nissans as well, and they will fit many different models using 2-bolt door strikers**. They are made from durable Polypropylene Plastic, which is lightly textured for an almost satin-like black finish. Installation is as simple as firmly pressing the cover over the striker loop and snapping it into place over the striker base (less than a minute to install and no special tools required!*). They cover the base of the strikers and both striker bolts. Once installed, they should not interfere with door operation*. Sold individually; 1 required per side (2 per car).
Dimensions:
*Door Adjustment Note: As with most cars, the doors on Z-Cars commonly end up sagging to some degree as they age (remember that 350Z's are mostly 20+ years old already). If you find that your doors are contacting these covers after installation, you will need to adjust your doors and hinges until they are properly aligned. Note that if this happens, your doors were almost certainly sagging somewhat already, just not enough to cause an issue).
**Non-Z Application Note:
These covers will fit over the standard Nissan 2-bolt door striker with the "hexagon" shaped base (wide, flat ends where the bolts fit). They will not fit on early Z-Cars prior to 1990 ("C" and "D" shaped strikers), and will not fit strikers with the "diamond" shaped base (angled & rounded where the bolts fit). The measurements listed above can be used to determine whether these will fit most applications.
