Includes:
  • (1) "NISSAN" Deck Lid Emblem

Description:
Unlike models sold globally, Z-Cars in Japan were sold under the Nissan brand name. Instead of the "Datsun" version, a "NISSAN" emblem was installed on the rear of all Z's in Japan. This particular genuine, original equipment (OEM) Nissan emblem was used for all 74-83 Fairlady models. It can be installed on all Z-Cars and includes pre-installed adhesive tape. The "NISSAN" lettering is bright chrome backed in textured black, as is the trim along the top and bottom. Sold individually. Includes clips for installation. For a Fairlady Z appearance, you will need one of these emblems.

Placement Note:
The exact placement of this emblem varied on the specific model. 74-78 Fairlady Z models sold with a factory installed rear spoiler typically had this emblem installed on the deck lid directly, in front of the spoiler and toward the right (JDM Driver's) side. Models that did not come with a spoiler usually had this emblem fitted underneath the "Fairlady Z" emblem on the deck lid, excluding models that had another emblem in that position (such as 432, Auto Trans., and 2/2). In these cases, the "NISSAN" emblem was moved to the left side of the deck lid. 79-83 "Fairlady 280Z" models usually had this emblem mounted either above or below the left (JDM passenger side) tail light, depending on whether another emblem was installed on that side (such as the "Turbo" emblem). As with all emblems, the factory position is a reference and it can be used to customize your Z in other ways.

70-73 Fairlady Z & 240Z Note:
70-73 models sold in Japan were also sold under the Nissan brand, but came with a different "NISSAN" emblem that is not currently available. This emblem can be used in place of the discontinued original for these models, but will not have the same appearance.

Note:
These brand new emblems are the factory original pieces manufactured by Nissan. They are NOT used, refurbished, aftermarket replicas, or reproductions. Our specialist importer was able to source a limited number of these; however, exact quantities are not available at this time. If you know that you will need these for your Z, we recommend placing your order sooner rather than waiting.

Fitment Guide:
Fits on any Datsun or Nissan Z-Car (240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX, 300ZX-Z31/Z32, 350Z, 370Z, and Nissan Z®), as well as other JDM Models sold in Japan. Can be installed in just about any flat surface! (See Placement Note above for factory positions.)
