Description:
Make your late model Z stand out with this subtle yet substantial carbon fiber accent! This great looking cover for the antenna plate is made of high quality Carbon Fiber with high gloss finish, and comes ready to install. It installs simply with silicone adhesive sealant (not included) over the painted plate, and does not require removal of the original. Gloss finished carbon fiber pairs especially well with high gloss paints, wraps, and coatings, but also creates an interesting contrast with low and semi-gloss style finishes (such as flat, matte, and satin). The pictures don't do justice to the great, gloss look of the carbon fiber in person; they look great!

Installation Notes:
Silicone adhesive sealant is strong, simple, non-permanent (can be removed with a heat gun), and available at any automotive or hardware store. Double-sided tape is not recommended, as this cover is made to fit very tightly over the original painted cover plate (to the point that the thickness of double-sided tape will cause an improper fit). When installing this cover on your antenna, we recommend applying the silicone to the inside of this carbon fiber cover directly (a bead along the center running front to back should be sufficient), pressing firmly to properly seat the cover, then securing with painters tape (typically blue in color and widely available at the same stores) while the adhesive cures (refer to the instructions with the adhesive you choose). IMPORTANT: Make sure that you do not create a seal around the edges of this cover, or completely cover the underside, when applying the adhesive! Any air pockets trapped by the adhesive may cause the adhesion to fail, and can even damage the carbon fiber itself! Please call if you have any questions.

370Z Application Note:
Nissan has used at least 2 different sizes and 2 different designs for the painted antenna cover plate for Z-Cars (which this cover fits over). This carbon fiber cover is sized to fit tightly over all of the different versions of the factory installed antenna that Nissan has used for the 370Z Coupe and 23+ Z^® models, although it will not be entirely form fitting for some individual cars due to size and shape differences on some versions. Unfortunately, Nissan was rather inconsistent with the size and shape on the painted plates, to the point that even the color of the car affected the cover design for some years. Additionally, the size differences are only measured in millimeters, which means that the only realistic option is a one-size-fits-all model.
