This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) valve spring retainer for all 300ZX-Z31 models. The valve spring retainer fits on top of both valve springs, which are then depressed along with the valves by the camshaft as it rotates. Each valve is held into the spring retainer by a pair of valve collets. Sold individually; 12 required per car.
