(Formerly "Metal Ready" and "Prep & Ready") After you've degreased, it's time to prepare the surface. Metal Prep removes surface rust, and insures paint adhesion by gently etching metal, while coating it with zinc phosphate to promote chemical bonding of the paint and steel. It provides a perfect base for all paints. It is not caustic, corrosive, toxic, or flammable, and leaves no harmful residues.
