Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) o-ring is used to seal the oil filter mounting bracket to the oil filter stud. It fits inside a groove on the engine block side of the mount bracket to ensure oil properly feeds through the various components (including the oil filter). Whenever the bracket is removed from the engine block, both this o-ring, along with the mount gasket, should be replaced. Note that unlike most models, the oil filter does not mount on the oil filter stud directly.
