Description:
We had these great looking bumpers developed many years ago due to overwhelming interest, and they have remained one of our best selling body styling parts ever since. They were patterned after the original 70-72 bumpers in order to fit close to the body for the tightest look! During development, the provisions for the rubber strips and bumper guards were removed for an even cleaner look than the overwhelmingly popular (and now discontinued) Euro Bumpers. This version of the lightweight rear bumper is made of high quality fiberglass (see Related Items for Carbon Fiber), and comes ready for prep and painting. Note: Installation hardware is available separately (NOT INCLUDED; see hardware note below**)..

**Installation Hardware:
Since installation varies across different S30 models, we do not included installation hardware with this bumper. Original 70-72 bumpers use fixed studs on the center and welded nuts on the sides to mount to the chassis, while these lightweight bumpers use slotted brackets instead. This style of mounting bracket allows for wider range of adjustability. We put a simple hardware kit together that is suitable for all S30 models using these bumpers for those who don't need a vehicle specific mounting solution; see 32-1037. in Related Items.

*73-74 240Z-260Z:
These bumpers can be used on 73 240Z's to early 74 260Z's, however you must create or modify brackets for the installation. You can have your own brackets made from scratch, or possibly the easiest method is to obtain early 240Z bumper brackets, as these will fit the bumper correctly, and modify them to fit your particular application (significant modification necessary, including machine bending, and often cutting & welding).

Protective Coating:
This fiberglass item has a gel coating to protect the fiberglass itself from scratches. It is not a finish coat. Your paint professional will sand down the coating prior to final priming and painting. You will notice scratching in this surface, which is exactly what it was designed to do, to take any scratching that can occur in production, transport, storage, handling, and shipping, keeping the fiberglass from being damaged.
