Description:
Gas struts have become common on many models over the years, typically replacing oil filled cartridges. They offer improved handling and ride quality compared to factory Z-Car struts while also preventing oil foaming (a common issue with oil cartridges). Excel-G Struts are one of, if not the most popular replacement for stock struts worldwide. All KYB's have a limited lifetime warranty. Replacement cartridges are non-adjustable and sold in pairs.

*Gland Nut Note:
These strut cartridges include 2 different gland nut sizes. You will need to select the appropriate gland nut for your application during installation.

Note: KYB's are designed for stock springs, and are not for use with lowering springs (see note below).

Datsun 240Z, 260Z

Model Restriction:
*Fits "early" 1974 260Z Coupe (2-seater) models produced from 9/73 through 8/74. If you have a 9/74 to 11/74, then you have the "late" 260Z and will need part 23-4030 (see Related Items). All 2+2 (4-seater) models also use 23-4030.
