Update: Inventory on these covers has slowly been trickling in; however, the delays related to materials and production continue. As they are still unable to offer timeframe estimates, we still recommend placing your order using a credit card as described below. We appreciate your continued patience. Note: If you reserve yours ahead of time, you will get to the top of the list hopefully soon and get your part. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until supply outpaces the number of reserved orders.

Delay: Our interior panel manufacturer has experienced a substantial delay in obtaining raw materials and finishing our orders. We hope to hear good news from them soon as to when we'll receive regular shipments again. If you'd like to join the list of people who have reserved their panels ahead of time with a credit card (which won't be charged until they actually arrive and ship), you can place your order, and we'll reserve one for you. Sorry for the delay and inconvenience.

The next best thing to a new dashboard, this form fitting cover is molded from high impact ABS plastic with the same texture as the original dash. This material will resist the damage caused by ultraviolet rays to factory dashes. The Dash Cover is designed for a simple, permanent installation and comes complete with instructions and special adhesive. Before and After Example (on 280Z). Note: The 70-72 Dash Cover will ONLY fit on a 70-72 Dashboard. Please see "Identifying your current 240Z dashboard" below.

Identifying your current 240Z dashboard

1970-1971: Looking at the image above, if your dashboard does not have the "cross" indentation, and the top hole was not punched out from the factory, then your dash is a 1970 to 1971 (note that some owners may have punched this hole out themselves to use for a switch or similar). On these original 1970-1971 dashboards, the top hole was unused in the US, and the bottom hole housed the emergency flasher toggle switch. Note that your dash cover will have the "cross" indentation like on a 1972.

1972: If your dashboard does have the "cross" indentation, and both holes are cut out from the factory, your dash is a 1972. On these original 1972 dashboards, the top hole housed the cigar lighter, and the bottom hole housed the emergency flasher toggle switch. The "cross" cutout was for the flasher toggle decal.

1973: If your dashboard does not have the "cross" indentation, and both holes are cut out from the factory, your dash is a 1973. On these original 1973 dashboards, the top hole was for the cigar lighter, and the bottom hole had a "pull out" emergency flasher switch.

Note: Over the years your dashboard may have been replaced with one from a different year. The 1972 dashboard in particular was available longer than the other two, and therefore was often purchased as a replacement for other year 240Z's. In addition, even from the factory, Nissan actually installed some 1972 Dashboards on a few very early 1973 240Z's. Please call us at (714)639-2620 prior to ordering if you are uncertain. If you have to send the wrong one back to us, the shipping costs can add up quickly!

Some parts may not fit every version of every year listed. See product Title & Description for any application breakdowns or customization options, and contact us with any questions.
