Description:
The Outer Tie Rods, also called Outer Socket Linkages, are the outermost end of the steering linkage assembly that connects to the Steering Knuckles. These genuine, original equipment (OEM) rods feature a socket style joint similar to the Inner Socket linkages and the Cross Rod that are often overlooked during routine maintenance and wear out over time. Outer Tie Rods are the most commonly replaced as they tend to wear out faster than the other joints in the assembly. Linkage type power steering models only. Sold individually; 2 required per car.

Model Restriction:
For all 79-81 non-turbo coupe models equipped with factory linkage type (recirculating ball) power steering. Will not fit on 280ZX w/ rack & pinion type steering.
