(1) Idler Arm Assembly*

Description:
The Idler Arm connects the Idler Arm Bracket (which bolts to the frame) to the Cross Rod. It is designed to assist the pitman arm by helping support the cross rod (the center of the steering linkage assembly). Idler arms are designed to pivot as the steering wheel is turned. If you notice wear on the edge of your tires or either loose or wandering steering, this arm may be the cause. The arm itself could be bad; however, it's always worth inspecting (or simply replacing) the bushings first**. Genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement. Linkage type power steering models only.

*Assembly Includes:

(1) Idler Arm
(1) Idler Arm Bracket Assembly
(2) Idler Arm Bushing
(1) Idler Arm Washer
(1) Lock Nut
(1) Grease Filler Plug

**Replacement Bushings:
The factory replacement bushings have been discontinued by Nissan. We now offer a replacement bushing kit, which includes both bushings, along with a replacement washer and lock nut. See 23-4441-1 in Related Items.
