Availability: Unfortunately, Nissan has discontinued production on these OEM Hood Insulators globally. While we had previously located a limited number of these through one of our overseas suppliers, they have since informed us that the last supply they were able to source has since run out. While it can be uncommon, we do come across ultra-rare or otherwise hard-to-find parts like this once in a while. Description:
This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) fiberboard insulator mounted to the underside of the hood. The insulator protects the paint on top of the hood by blocking much of the engine heat that reaches it. Sold individually. See Related Items for the clips that hold the insulator to the hood.
