Availability: Unfortunately, Nissan has discontinued production on these OEM Throttle Cables globally. While we had previously located a limited number of these through one of our overseas suppliers, they have since informed us that the last supply they were able to source has since run out. While it can be uncommon, we do come across ultra-rare or otherwise hard-to-find parts like this once in a while. A damaged, dirty, or plain old accelerator cable (or throttle cable) can be a serious problem. If the housing is cracked or damaged, dirt and debris can get on the inner cable which can lead to a series of different issues, ranging from idling trouble and hesitation to delays in throttle response (on either acceleration, deceleration, or even both) or even a stiff or sticky throttle pedal. Even if the cable housing is in tact, the inner cable itself can still have these same issues simply due to age. This genuine, original equipment (OEM) throttle cable is a direct replacement for the factory installed unit, which extends from the pedal, through the firewall, and up to the throttle body.

Ever since Nissan discontinued production of these Throttle Cables a few years ago, inventory of these cables has been limited. Although it took some time to locate them originally, we were ultimately able to find a limited supply of these genuine Nissan throttle cables in Japan. Like many items that we source from Japan or other areas around the world, these cables may not be in stock at all times.
