This part has now changed to a Factory OEM Cold Start Valve, since unfortunately the aftermarket manufacturer we were selling has discontinued their version of the valve. Nissan USA has also discontinued this Cold Start Valve. However, we were able to find a limited supply in Japan of factory Nissan Cold Start Valves. The current cost from Japan plus shipping and tariffs is putting these few remaining units near $300.00, and even that is subject to change depending on when you make your request. If you order one of these Special Order items, we will check current remaining stock in Japan, and confirm what the current cost would be and let you know if it will be more than the advertised price estimate (if you purchased one of the aftermarket ones recently under this part number, we'll be in touch with you about your options, and you'll have first shot at the limited supply from Japan)

(1) Cold Start Valve

Description:
The cold start valve is essentially a fuel injector mounted on the intake manifold just behind the throttle body. It adds extra fuel during cold start-ups. Depending on how it has failed, it can cause hard starts in cold operation or rich conditions at operating temp. It is also a good idea to inspect the electrical plug and Thermo Time Switch if your valve not functioning properly. Don't forget a replacement gasket! (See Related Items.)
