Description: Blow off valves relieve compressor pressure surges caused by changing gears, or backing off the throttle. Everybody has heard the "whoosh" sound when a performance turbo vehicle passes by on the road. A proper blow off valve is the culprit, and this valve is the type that will be heard down the street. In addition, this valve has been used on turbo charged engines running up to 35 psi boost. It can also be installed without an intercooler. It was designed to install in the ideal position, between the turbo and the throttle body. Includes 6 adjustment shims, hex key, and both a mild steel and an aluminum adapter. Welding is required for installation. Instructions included.
