Description: The second generation 300ZX was the first Z to change from a traditional distributor ignition to individual ignition coils. In a distributor type ignition, the high tension lead connects the ignition coil to the distributor, which then sends the spark to the correct plug. In Distributorless Ignition Systems (DIS), each coil sends its spark direct to the plug. Fortunately, the high tension lead can be replaced separate from the ignition coil. This assembly connects the ignition coil to the spark plug. Sold individually; 6 required per car.
