(1) Exhaust Hanger Strap Bushing

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) strap style bushing is the rubber component of the exhaust hanger assemblies. Strap style hanger bushings are used to both position the exhaust assembly and insulate driveline and exhaust vibrations and "road noise" from the chassis. It installs in all 260Z and 280Z hanger positions where a strap style bushing is used. For 300ZX-Z31 models, it is used on the forward rear hanger assembly, which connects to the exhaust where the 2 rear exhaust tubes meet. Sold individually; 1 required per hanger assembly.

74-78 Note:
For 74-78 models, this bushing is used in all original hanger assemblies that require a strap style bushing. 280Z models originally use an all metal hanger in front of the premuffler/catalytic converter, which attaches the exhaust to the transmission (the exhaust heat shield also attaches to this hanger). For use with factory hardware components:

Forward Hanger Position: Driver's (Left) Side Transmission Tunnel at the differential crossmember (74 only)
Front Muffler Hanger
Rear Muffler Hanger

Factory Hardware Note:
Some of the factory replacement hardware is still available for the original hanger assemblies. These pieces are used widely throughout several Z-Car years and models for a variety of applications. See Related Items for some of these components.
