Description:
Our fiberglass cases were patterned after the original factory Headlight Cases (commonly referred to as headlight "buckets"), and have been a popular alternative to the discontinued (and hard to find) factory parts. They are perfect when you need a replacement that will be painted, but ready to install and go options have been lacking. Originally developed over 15 years ago alongside a few other unique parts, these Carbon Fiber Headlight Cases were simply ahead of their time, and ultimately shelved as a project due to limited interest all those years ago (carbon fiber was still growing as an option in the Z-Car world, and was mostly limited to rear spoilers and fender flares). With the ever expanding interest in Carbon Fiber options in recent years, we decided that now would be the ideal time to bring them fully into production! Gloss finished carbon fiber pairs especially well with high gloss paints, wraps, and coatings, but also creates an interesting contrast with low and semi-gloss style finishes (such as flat, matte, and satin). The pictures don't do justice to the great, gloss look of the carbon fiber in person; they look great!

Like their fiberglass counterparts, these Carbon Fiber cases are lighter than metal cases and won't bend your fender in turn if they get bumped (so overall repair can be significantly less). Both headlight cases are made of high quality Carbon Fiber with high gloss finish (see Related Items for Fiberglass), come as a matched left and right set, and are ready to install. They have the proper mounting hardware in the right places, and come ready to prep and paint.

Full Carbon Fiber Nose:
These headlight cases are the missing link for the full carbon fiber "nose" for early Z-Cars! Pair this set with an early style carbon fiber air dam and a slim, 240Z style front bumper for the ultimate carbon style! Both options are listed in Related Items.
