The last ones available!
The Ignition Transistor Module is one of the critical components of the ignition system. Its primary function is amplifying the ignition signal from the ECU, which is then connects and disconnects the ignition coil primary circuit. This process is what induces the high voltage charge in the secondary ignition coil circuit, which then sends the charge to the distributor. Original units are known to wear out from time and use, which can lead to issues ranging from rough idle and hard starting all the way to an engine that won't run at all. This genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement module is the upgraded version Nissan used to replace the factory installed version, which were more prone to failure than the later 300ZX-Z31 modules. While it is a direct replacement for 9/83-8/87 only, it can be used on all 300ZX-Z31 models*. Includes the module, adapter harness, and mounting bracket.

7/83-8/83 Note:
While this module can be installed on all 84-89 models, very early production 1984 models received a unique transistor with a 2-wire connection instead. In order to use this upgrade on these models, wiring modifications will be required.
