Description:
The original door dove tails were designed to help align the door with the striker when closing the door in order to prevent damage. When the door striker is adjusted, the dove tail also needs to be adjusted to match. Aside from age, the main reason that the originals end up damaged is due to misalignment between the door and/or the dove tail and the door striker. These awesome reproduction pieces replace the weak pot metal used for the originals with 6061-T6 Aircraft grade (very rigid) Billet Aluminum for much more durability. They are crafted in the same shape as the originals and maintain their function without the weakness. Kit includes two Dove Tails and stainless steel screws (which no longer require star lock washers).
