Description:
Sewn-molded carpet is a hybrid of molded and sectional carpet kits. The "molding" to the floor shape is accomplished by the pattern that the pieces are sewn together, similar to how clothing is made. They come with under-attached jute padding, and are available in cut-pile or loop style. The kit includes a durable heel pad sewn onto the driver’s side carpet in the correct location. You get complete floor coverage with this carpet kit. Adhesive is included. Replaces catalog #40-2594.

In the first production months for the model year 1977, the rear deck floor came flat from the luggage riser back to within a few inches of the tail lights, and then sloped upward at approximately a 45°ree; angle to meet the deck lid opening. Late 1977's are flat all the way to the tail lights.
