Description:
The door dove tail is designed to help align the door with the striker when closing the door in order to prevent damage. When the door striker is adjusted, the dove tail also needs to be adjusted to match. Aside from age, the main reason that these end up damaged is due to misalignment between the door and/or the dove tail and the door striker. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) dove tail, which is mounted on the rear of the door below the latch. Perfect replacement for those looking to restore their car 100% to factory spec.
