Description:
This conversion is for upgrading your 240Z, 260Z, or 280Z to rear disc brakes (see note below for 77-78 280Z). It consists of a pair of our custom made 6061T-6 Nickel Plated Aluminum brackets, a pair of custom stainless steel rear brake lines, the necessary bolts & hardware, and your choice of a pair of OEM quality stock configuration rotors, or our performance drilled/slotted rotors. This is a direct bolt-on setup, requiring no modification of the vehicle, except that the backing plates and rear drum hardware must be removed. The brackets and brake lines attach to the original fixtures, no proportioning valve is needed, and the original emergency brake cable is retained (70-76 Z). Installation requires purchase of a set of brake calipers, which are not included. See Related Items below for our Stage 1 and 2 kits which include the Rotors and Calipers.
