Your 280ZX was designed as a "luxury sports car". With this new aggressive air dam, you can take your 280ZX from mild-mannered to menacing, and create your own ultimate performance machine. Made with high-quality hand-laid fiberglass, the fit & finish of the completed piece is impressive (we'll have even more pictures soon). The large center opening comes with an aluminum grille that only adds to the aggressiveness. The round openings on either side of the air tunnel are functional, and can be used for directed air tubes for brake cooling, or as a great place for driving lights (see related items below). Below the openings is the deep, splitter-like forward lip that is a huge part of the intimidating profile. Get ready to turn heads!
Bumper Note:
The bumper reinforcement, which is located directly behind the outer face bar, is the impact resistant portion of the bumper. When installing this air dam, you need only remove the outer face bar. The main bumper reinforcement, attached to the bumper mounts and main frame, stays in place.
