The Concentric Slave Cylinder (which also includes the clutch release bearing) used on 07+ HR motors is prone to failure. The cylinder is exposed to excessive heat that causes these units to wear out much faster than traditional systems (with the slave cylinder mounted outside the transmission). If your clutch pedal stays on the floor when you press it, the likely cause is a bad cylinder. While we haven't designed an alternative to the factory design yet, replacement assemblies are still available. This assembly should be replaced when installing any clutch. You will need to replace the clutch fluid when replacing this part. We recommend replacing the mounting bolts and tube assembly at the same time; see Related Items below.
This part replaces all previous versions of the factory Concentric Slave Cylinder Assembly.
