Description: This great new kit from K&N contains two short ram air intakes with powder-coated silver tubes, two K&N high-flow air filters, and two powder-coated steel heat shields. The K&N system utililzes the 350Z's factory fresh air ducts, which provide cooler outside air to the individual filters for more power. The two air intake units are placed in opposite corners near the fender wells behind the headlights. This, along with the steel heat shields, gives you the greatest volume of cool air possible. Some other systems allow significantly more heat buildup, which causes air expansion, and therefore less volume. This protected K&N system maximizes the air flow to your 350Z. K&N's tests have shown over an 8 hp increase, and improved throttle response. The system does not remove the stock intake plenums, which keeps a clean look under the hood.
